Haitian ensemble Chouk Bwa Libète give meaning to the term spiritual music with their Haitian roots rhythms and enchanting chants. We met the group at Roskilde 2015 and ended up filming this intimate performance in their backstage room. Chouk Bwa Libète consist of four percussionists who excel in the art of vodou drumming, two dancers whose movements are intertwined in the drummers’ rhythms and the lead singer and composer, Sambaton.
