Ernst Reijseger, Harmen Fraanje and Mola Sylla reconcile the likes of jazz, classical and African music with a rare, exquisite harmony and a subtle brilliance. Besides their critically acclaimed albums “Count till Zen” and “Down Deep”, the trio have also made music for Werner Herzog’s movies “The Cave of Forgotten Dreams” and “My Son My Son What Have Ye Done”. Their music does indeed induce filmic connotations with Reijseger and Fraanje’s lyrical interplay and Sylla’s voice sounding as ancient as time itself.
